What a great value for our money! The room at Chateau De Razay was spacious and comfortable, and the chateau itself had a charming architecture. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby chateaux, and the staff treated us with kindness and politeness. The woodland setting added an adventurous touch to our stay, and our children loved interacting with the animals, especially Rudi the pig. The swimming pool was a brilliant way to relax after a chateau over-dose, and the early mornings with the sun peering through the mist over the meadows felt absolutely magical. a wonderful base for our family vacation.
One small thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to have a wider variety of breakfast items available, such as hot dishes or more savory options. But this minor detail didn't overshadow the overall experience of our stay at Chateau De Razay.

the Chateau De Razay is a hidden gem tucked away in a massive private parkland. the building itself is a very French architectural delight, and the surrounding grounds are immaculately maintained. the rooms, although not large, are tastefully decorated with period furniture and the bathrooms are well-appointed with nice touches like twin sinks and marble surrounds. the owner of the chateau is exceptionally friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure the guests have a restful night. the continental breakfast provided is delicious, with fresh croissants, breads, cereals, and fruit. the chateau also has two outdoor swimming pools, a terrace with beautiful views, and an interesting paddock area with various animals like horses, ponies, and even a pet pig. I highly recommend this unique and charming hotel for anyone visiting the Loire Valley. Cons: Not one thing 👍.

I stayed in a fully glazed chalet and felt like I was part of the forest. The tiny house allowed me to explore the entire domain, including the heated pool. The restaurant took their food seriously, which was a pleasant surprise.
Oh, and who needs privacy? The cabins for 2 people are nestled in the trees with stunning views, so be ready for all the animals to have a front-row seat to your personal life.

Natural and beautiful setting with chalets and cabins in the middle of the forest of animals waiting to be seen. Stayed in a classic double bedroom located in the Orangerie, offering a Queen size bed and a private bathroom. The bathroom, entirely in French stone, was equipped with a large shower and a bathtub as well as a double sink and a separate toilet. It felt like stepping into a royal spa!
Limited breakfast options.
